Pomodoro has been a game-changer for me. Before, I’d dive into tasks full force, only to burn out after a few weeks, followed by a downward spiral of procrastination that could last just as long. It felt like I was treading water, only managing to keep up with work, but not much else. 1/2 ⬇️⬇️⬇️

I found that most implementations of it were way too rigid for me personally. Despite what I thought in regards to “flow” or whatever, I found taking a 5-10 minute break every hour or so and spending that break away from stimulation would allow me to actually question “what did I do for the last hour, was it what I planned?” and then plan “okay given that, what am I going to do for the next hour?”, even if it means continuing the same task, it at least becomes a more conscious decision.
