A question for people who are native speakers of languages that use definite and indefinite articles (the, a, der, ein, le, un etc): have you tried to imagine speaking a language that does not use such articles? Or have you learned such a language? Did it cause you any difficulty?

13 小時內	Elle 42.pixelle_	native English speaker, learned Mandarin and Korean, this has never been a problem. I feel in most cases that the information provided by definite articles is redundant, and can be conveyed easily by other phrases when necessary (ex. that instead of the or one instead of a).
18 小時內	Fernanda Barrientos nandapandabar	I don't have problems now that I'm learning Finnish (Spanish is my L1). I would say that not using articles in a second language when you have them in your native language is not a problem, but the other way around can be a total pain.
20 小時內	エム ankimo242	I took up Japanese, which indeed does not use articles. It caused me no difficulty. In fact, I'd say it's a lot easier without articles, at least for me 😅
