How is Tennessee or South Carolina to live? I want to move from the west coast to the east coast… I have always lived on this side and really want a change in scenery and a different lifestyle in a totally new location.

19 小時內	54tngirl	No state income tax in Tennessee but the sales tax is almost 10% in the city I’m in. As for state leadership, they are back asswards and we’re almost dead last in everything. It’s a beautiful state though.
一天內	Janie Toy Powell janiep81	I just moved from Tennessee to another state. I lived there for 12 years. It’s politically very conservative. Pros: most of the state is beautiful, there’s no state income tax, and promising industry/job market. Cons: Housing prices have gone up dramatically in the last 5 years, IMO their education is in crisis. If I were to move to Tennessee again I would live in the tri-cities (far northeast, near Virginia, KY, and NC) or Chattanooga.
