20 - The Colour of Magic (D, 1983) - A D compared to the rest of the books. It's a perfectly fine intro to the DW, but it sure suffers from early installment weirdness. There's a clear raise in quality across the first several books, and you have to start somewhere! This was an experiment on Terry's part that worked! Episodic, different, very heavy on parody.
