Instead of using her part in the movie to discuss domestic violence and its impact, she’s used it as a chance to joke, promote her haircare line and the new Deadpool movie, and has marketed her movie as a chick flick. This is triggering and harmful to people who don’t know what it’s about who will be blindsided. The criticism of her right now is valid

She got married on a plantation and played dumb. She’s shilling hair products white promoting a film about DV. She’s chronically tone-deaf.

For starters she’s a horrible actress.

Well from what I can get is 1. She doesn't have depth 2. The book it ends with us is quite heavy on the topic of domestic violence (haven't seen the movie yet) and she's hardly spoken about it in her interviews and instead giving it a complete romcom chic flick feel to it. 3. She shared a few rude/shallow comments when touched the topic of DV in her interviews

Apparently due to being in a film based on a book where a person is in an abusive relationship, she should be single handedly saving all women from assult and abuse and everything she does should be involved in activism otherwise she doesn't reach the high moral standard that each and every one of her detractors lives up to Every. Single. Day. Because they are all perfect and she isnt
