I’m in my 40s and I love BTS. Someone “made fun” of me recently by saying they went through their “boy band” phase as actual teenagers. Well congrats, your parents did a great job at allowing you to be a kid and not be in survival mode when you were a teenager. Some of us are reparenting ourselves and healing our inner child, so excuse me while I allow her to like what she likes cause she’s safe now thanyouverymuch. Also, MEN…they’re not boys. They’re grown ass men 😉

In these 6+ years I've been stanning them the most important thing I've learned is to ignore people who make comments like that. If they can't appreciate the things that make you happy you don't need them near you. Have fun, life is short and stressful on the daily...they make us smile and that's the most important thing. 💜💜

Nobody will question someone for being a fan of a football team. I'm 37, had a lovely childhood, done my "boyband phase" between 10 and 16, listen to all kinds of music (it goes from an dark irish folk band to Maceo Parker, from Wolfmother to Laufey etc) and BTS is on my spectrum. If they make you happy and feel like home, that's what matters ♡
