I’m going to sound like a theist when I say this, but I’m not Instead, please read this as an Eastern style “don’t just take my word; see it for yourself” type of thing When Redditor-esque anti-theists ask for evidence of God, they’re making a category error. The God that they wish to debunk isn’t one that can be verified through empirical observations of the external world Rather, the God that Redditor types must contend with is one found introspectively with direct firsthand experience

13 小時內	Alden __ori0n__	I like this approach too and to add to this I think that theists need to appreciate that position rather than try to claim there is some empirical evidence of an objective spirit. Both sides are often lost arguing rational points about what is ultimately (unless otherwise demonstrated) a subjective experience. More theists could make appropriate arguments from that perspective. But by engaging in a completely subjective argument they have to admit that their chosen god isn’t the only possible
