someone I dated on and off for 3 years right before I met my husband. The sad part is that she had so many other great things going on in her life but I was never jealous. Just genuinely happy for her but she couldn’t do the same for me. My other “best friend” FORGOT to send me an invitation to her wedding and I still flew internationally to be a part of her wedding party while having a high risk pregnancy. She was upset that my husband proposed to me a few months after hers and how there 2/6

We know the good friends and the sub par ones, sometimes we just want to keep seeing the good in the ones that continuously hurt us, while they could care less about us! All that matters is that u finally cut the cord and set urself free!!!

One of a few reasons: she would constantly bash my then BF now husband because I was financially supporting him. Her BF at the time was taking her out, spending money on her, etc. and mine wasn't, so he wasn't adequate for me according to her. Fast forward, she found out he was cheating on her with his BM and my husband and I have been together for nearly 7 years. She also crossed a major boundary when she got touchy feely yhim one night we all went out. 🙄

Girl I have a “bff” of over half my life and she never tells me when she back in our home state without me basically digging it outta her and when I try to make plans she says ya definitely and then has zero communication with me… but tells everyone we’re bffs. I have another friend same length of time that’s actively dying right now and she always makes time for at least conversation and check ins… people who care show up somehow even if it’s in spirit so to speak.. no excuses.

She hated me for one mistake i’ve done (which I am terribly and genuinely sorry for) and then from there she just bursted out all her anger towards me. All those years she wasnt really genuinely happy for me and that she was holding a grudge against me (which i didnt know and would never knew until i have done that one stupid mistake). I guess im the only one who thought we are bestfriends. I was so heartbroken when she cut me off but then i realized she never really was a my bestfriend
