How does the word 'foreigner' make you feel? As someone of British-Korean heritage, sort of an in-betweener, I often hesitate to use this word, remembering how it made me feel like I was being told 'you don't belong here’, especially in my younger years. But then again, we don’t seem to have any alternatives.. or do we? (Perhaps this depends on how emotionally attached you are, and whether you see your stay as temporary or if you're actively trying to integrate..?)
