ANTARCTIC BLUE
Antarctica
When I first started taking pictures of glaciers and icebergs, and saw how blue some of them looked on my computer screen, I thought it was a technical issue that I needed to “fix” — even though I could also see it with the naked eye. Turns out that the older the ice is, the more compressed it becomes thanks to the immense weight of the additional ice on top of it. (1/2) ⬇️
