I was supposed to be catching a Northern train from Leeds to York, to then catch a Grand Central train from York to Kings Cross. The Northern train is delayed so badly that I won't make the connection. But all alternatives are LNER. So, I had to buy a new ticket for the next LNER train and just hope that they refund the first one 🙄 Renationalise the railways, aye?

9 小時內	Martin Rapier rapiermartin	Exactly the same thing happened to me with Grand Central. They are awful and hardly have any trains , so if you miss a connection you are stuffed..Avoid at all costs.

12 小時內	John Lynch john_lynch_98	Although I hate paying the service charge, you can buy insurance on trainline for a couple of quid that covers for this. It calculates split ticketing too. I generally save money
