I made a post on TikTok about how the artisans making our bags in Italy get paid AT LEAST minimum wage, and I got a lot of comments from people saying “why only minimum wage”, “pay your workers a good wage”… I’m glad people care, but it’s interesting how much scrutiny comes with transparency. Brands that say nothing often escape this, yet they’re the ones who should be questioned the most... ethicalfashion

I guess a better way to call it is a “legal” wage. How would you call it? I feel like “ethically made” or “fair wage” had been overused and it’s like social washing by now.

I share bts stuff because I want to be transparent. We use organic cotton, workers are paid a living wage, we have all the certifications. If I never said anything I'd never get challenged! Tiktok is the worst for it 😢
