I don’t think there is a text book answer. I think it varies based on the child’s physical readiness, such as showing signs of staying dry for longer periods, expressing interest in using the toilet, and the ability to follow simple instructions. Starting too early can sometimes lead to frustration. Each child is different, so it's important to be patient and flexible with their needs and development. From my own experience my son was a late bloomer … my daughter showed interest very early .

Look for signs when they’re ready.. we tried to “force” it with our oldest - made her not want to do it at all instead.. you’ll spot the signs eventually.. for example our middle would always hide if she knew she needs to have 💩.. so everytime we saw her sneak out - we took her to toilet.. and then you can start putting them onat obvious times like after waking up, eventually it is the first thing most people do in the morning.. sticker chart worked for us aswell..

Depends on when your kid is ready. You can try early, and if they have the personality/ character for it it might work. I started at 2 with my oldest and he wasn’t fully potty trained until 5- it was an uphill battle and I started too early. My youngest was potty trained at 2, and it took a week- he was even out of bedtime diapers in that week. Everyone’s different.

There’s people that start from birth.. go for it

Your kid will tell you when they are ready if you start too soon it will only stress both of you out and deter the child from wanting too

My youngest taught herself at 2. I tried at one and a half and she was over it but one day she told me she had to pee and never used a pull up again.

It all depends on the kid. The time frame goes from 18 months to 5 years.

I started potty training my son at 2 and when he turned 2.5 he’s very independent already, no more accidents.
