I’m on a 2 hour flight on a small plane. There are countless open seats. I asked the flight attendant (a black woman) if I could move to an empty seat. She told me “I cannot do that on-board, you would have had to do that at the gate.” I said okay & though frustrated, I didn’t say anything more.
