On the other hand I'd feel that I'd be punishing the baby for a choice that was your sister's, so in the end I think that if I were in your place I would help that child if I was in a position to do so. Is there any way to help the child without giving the mother the message that you're somehow supporting her and her decision? It's a though decision I concede that.
