Argument: AI-art is not art due to the lack of control in the output. What about someone who generates hundreds of renderings of the same art sketch that uses Perlin noise (or a variation of it), then squint really hard to find one amongst them that is "beautiful"? This is called "generative art". It's not AI-art. But the somewhat lack of control is in display here. In any case, I believe skilled AI-artists strive very hard to control the output. So in that sense, y'all are on the same team.
