So apparently Restaurants have problem with booking table for 1 “ minimum party size is 2” Like what you want me to hire an actor for dinner? & some people prefer to enjoy their meal alone I’m so confused on this approach, like why? FineDining solo

2 小時內	Tina Binder capturing_tina	I've only ever heard this on the internet. I've never experienced out IRL. Ask if they're willing to seat you at the bar or do walk in instead of a reservation.

6 小時內	Pat Fopma patfopma	I was in a restaurant in FL. I wanted a table for 1. The place was empty. They asked if I would rather sit at the bar. I was OK with it except the seats at the bar were very low. I felt like my chin could rest on the bar. I’m 5’3”. Went back to hostess and said the bar wasn’t working. They finally gave me a table. The waiter was very nice but two others including the hostess not so much. There were only 3 other tables filled when I left. I dine solo in NYC and never had a problem.
