We don’t sleep a lot haha and sometimes you have to forfeit a social life and/or the gym 😂

Oh yeah you just don’t sleep and don’t go to the gym and add a few after school/work sports in there too. Pretty much 6:00am-9:00pm completely on.

2 kids, I wake up at 5 for gym. Get them to bed by 8:30 so I can hang out with my husband before bed. It’s busy but they’ll be older and more independent one day 😊

I work part time, my husband works full time, our daughter is in daycare part time. Most of our hobbies/exercising is in the evenings and we mostly socialise with with other people who have kids (almost all our friends have kids so that makes things easier.) I actually think I have more variety in my life than before having a kid. More friends, more social groups, more activities. But I know a big part of that is being privileged enough to only be working part time.

My parents had so many hours in their day. My mom was a nurse, step dad worked in a factory. Step dad also worked as a volunteer fireman. Parents had family business: a garage. Then there were us, four kids. Also, a house with all its responsibilities. We even picked berries, went fishing etc to get more food for free.

Ah you see that ENORMOUS 11 hour window? That is when we do everything. Parents are basically vampires. Except for the bit where they sleep during the day. We don’t get to do that.
