I had to do all of that. My mom often worked 2 jobs. My kids, do a lot but not as much as I did. I’m a stay at home mom. The difference is they can also do it because I’ve taught them to but they don’t HAVE to. I don’t have to remind them or wake them up, they do that on their own but we do work as a team. If I’m doing laundry I’d ask if they needed anything washed. Work clothes or sports/band stuff etc. and when they weren’t as busy with school, activities or work they do their own.

Ummm my mama did not wake me up for school. If I was late, I got the consequences of those actions. Same with homework and tests and papers. My parents were very much- learn by experience. Now, I never was late that often. And I never had failing grades. (Otherwise, there would’ve been more checking in and more restrictions on tv, friend time, etc). And my parents did not arrange play dates. My friends and I would decide to hang then ask our parents for permission to drive there/get rides/ etc.
