Foster care storytime: When I was 16 I was living with a foster carer who I will call Katherine I liked Katherine because she basically had no rules. I could come and go whenever I wanted, she would buy me alcohol and cigarettes and she was happy for me to drop out of school. Obviously now I’m an adult it’s sad to look back on, but as a teenager I loved it Anyway- Katherine had booked a 2 week trip to India which meant I would need to stay with a temporary (respite) foster carer (1)
