The person in a sing song voice said “ohh I shouldn’t touch her!” They absolutely knew that they shouldn’t. Not only is Ava covered in signs and symbols saying she’s a working guide dog and not to distract her… but the person had already told on themselves that they knew their behaviour was inappropriate. They just didn’t care. In fact they probably decided to do it precisely because I had my hands full with a fractious toddler. It was an intentional act, not ignorance.
