Chinatown is worth a visit, there’s a really great Japanese place called Dojo, or Little Asia is good for hot pot 😁 I think they’re both closed on Wednesdays though, just something to keep in mind.

Ouseburn for some chill vibes and quirky shops and animals , grainger market for street food all over , Blackfriars , day or night tynemouth there’s a market on sat and sun at the station . Getto golf is a giggle , Hancock museum , lit and phill

If you're here over the weekend visit tynemouth and start with the market! It's inside the original train station (now a metro station) every sat and sun from 9-3pm, and is full of artisan traders. Also visit raspberry bazarre on tynemouth's front street, green ginger church (a converted church full of food and drink places), and walk a few more metres down to the sea to see tynemouth priory and castle 🩷

I live there, suggest Baltic, Laing, Ouseburn, Quayside and bridges, castle, Grey St, Tyneside Cinema, Theatre Royal, town wall, lots of good pubs, Panis Italian, St Sushi Japanese, Blackfriars Restaurant, lots of good pubs, walking by the river, shops and lots of good pubs!

Pani’s is a personal favourite.

The Ouseburn is a great area. A few different places to eat: Ernest and the Cookhouse are my favourites, then up the steps to the Cumberland Arms. It’s walkable from the city centre and plenty of buses. Can easily be combined with the Quayside including the Baltic centre for contemporary art. More traditional art in the Biscuit Factory.
