Just because you have a degree, it does not mean you are a better software engineer. You DO NOT need a degree to be a Software Engineer. I hate that rhetoric. Different people learn in different ways and self taught engineers can often be incredibly passionate and great at adapting. Some of the best engineers I have ever met are self taught. Stop gatekeeping our profession and move on from that complex which is telling you people without a degree are not as capable.
