In my early 20s, I had a friend. That friend received an abortion. Why? Well it doesn't matter, but I will tell you to make my point. 1. She didn't want a baby. 2. She didn't know who the father was. My husband & I took care of while she went thru the abortion (she was early enough she could take the pills). My husband went & bought her the diaper like pads & pain meds. She stayed at our home during. We offered her our bed so she could be comfortable while we would sleep on the couch. 1/2

The cries of agony & quiet screaming we heard from her is nothing someone would willingly endure. NOTHING. She simply didn't want a baby. Now, less than 10 years later, in a better place, she has a baby. Even in her early 20s she was educated. Had a degree. Had a job. She just didn't want to be a mother yet. & that is VALID. Abortion is Healthcare.

Taking control of your body and taking actions to prevent things from happening that you don't want to, is health care. Going to a doctor or any health facility and talking about your options to prevent anything from happening to you is responsible health care. Abortion is not.

Watching from the UK and terrified that women are losing equality in what is supposed to be an educated and civilised nation. Majority of those kids are abused physically/mentally/emotionally/sexually and/or want to kill themselves. Only “desiresble” babies get adopted, and passed a certain age they’re just waiting to age out of the system.
