My due date is 11-19 and I’m getting induced on the 7th. I keep hearing all these horror induction stories 😭 do I have any moms here with a positive induction story?

Started induction at 9am, water was broken at 2:40pm, started pushing at 4:40pm, met my perfect little boy at 4:46pm! You got this mama!

My birth was absolutely amazing! I was induced early early morning and had my son at 6 pm. No epidural, tried a few other methods along with breathing techniques and constant motion. I enjoyed laboring and pushing, I enjoyed it all. I'm not saying it wasn't the most painful thing ever but it was also beautiful and magical knowing and feeling exactly what my body was doing to bring my child of God into this world. The love got me through it all

I had a terrible experience, but that's because my babies head was actually too big(or I'm too small?). There was no way to know. If we had waited for when I naturally started labor, it would have been worse and he likely would have been hurt by the time we realized. So even though I had a panic attack( being told we need to do a c-section right now) and had such painful contractions without further dilating( since he couldn't get into the actual position my body responded by not dilating much),

I had a positive induction experience. The process was long (and didn’t start off with pitocin) but worth it. I recommend getting an epidural because contractions do suck. I also had a normal delivery so don’t let people scare you into thinking you will automatically have a C-section.

I was induced only got 2 rounds of cytotec had some pretty intense contractions for about 2 hours after the second dose nothing else given got an epidural after the contractions got too intense was only 1 cm prior then 6 cm after did some position changes in bed and was ready to have the baby soon after. From admit to delivery 13 hours. You’ll do great!

My nurse gave me the best advice “don’t be a hero. Get the morphine drip. It will be the difference between 5 hours of reasonable sleep or 12 hours of searing pain. You’ll be more rested for actual labor”.

All of mine (three), have gone off without a hitch! Beautiful, uncomplicated, quick, “easy”, births ♥️ Good luck mama!

I had a positive induction-25 hours total. At around hour 12, I got an epidural. At about 18 hours in, I got a top off. It was a little painful but really positive. My husband made the difference. He had water, good smelling things, and specific breathing techniques for each pain cycle. Choose someone kind, loving and attentive to be with you. Best of luck!

For sure! I was induced at 37 weeks and labor was an absolute breeze. I opted for the epidural probably 1-2 hours after pitocin was started. Did not feel any contractions after that, actually I took a nap for most of that part lol. Maybe 5 minutes of pushing and my kiddo was here. Minimal tearing. We were both healthy able to leave hospital on time. Whole process was about 24 hours with most of that being me sleeping waiting for each step of the process to do its part!
