Strike up a conversation about something - ask her advice about what you're shopping for or something - and if you're both enjoying talking, tell her you'd love to keep the chat going and ask her out. If she says no, say "I understand, thanks for your time" and leave it at that.

I think some women would probably be freaked out by it because they probably aren't used to the direct approach and a guy asking them to get coffee etc (thank the online dating scene for that) but some women would absolutely love it so you should definitely go for it. I’d just be yourself and if someone catches your eye just go for it. No corny pick up lines though 🤣🤣

No, you initially just make a comment to get her attention & see if she engages or not. For example, I was bowling and the guy in the next lane was like "Hey, nice!" after I got a strike. Then we just chatted casually. Since I kept engaging in a friendly way he asked me out. If you're at Target you could comment on something she's looking at, or even an "excuse me" to reach for something. If she engages with you, you can wrap it up after a min & ask if you can get her # to chat more later

I wouldn’t say approach and invite for coffee; but maybe approach and say something like; I don’t want to interrupt what you’re doing, but, when I saw you (do something, say something, whatever it was that caught your attention) I thought you would be someone I would like to know. Then maybe ask if you could get her a coffee at the Starbucks in Target. Women want to be noticed for who we are, not for our physical attraction.

Start up a conversation first, and if it goes well then ask for her number in a gentle way. “Hey, would it be ok if I got your number and asked you out for coffee sometime?” She may say no, but at least you tried!
