You can say BLACK instead of BIPOC when you’re talking about a BLACK person or BLACK people. And that’s Black with a capital B. Hope this helps!

Absolutely. I’m often saying my Black and Peers of Color when addressing issues on our campus. Also have a hard time using the acronym BLM—spell. It. Out. Black Lives Matter.

I say black people/person because that’s the consensus but in reality, there are no black or white people. There are shades of brown. Some lighter/darker than others but no sense trying to convince hundreds of years of racism of that. Carry on
