The average reading level of an American adult aged 18-35 is ~9th grade. The KJV is allegedly 12th grade. I hate to say it but… maybe… yall hate KJV so much cause yall can’t read 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Praying though!

I can read it only because I was "forced" to memorize scripture in KJV from grade 5 to 12. Also I love linguistics so I kind of studied the pattern and can understand/translate to modern English at a glance

11 小時內	Paula Foy paulaz.foy	Insisting that the KJV is the only valid translation does more harm than good. The gospel is meant to be accessible to anyone, and for a long time KJV was all there was. NIV and NKJV win souls too, this isn’t a test of who can read more complex literature than others, and a translation that uses “your” instead of “thine” is not automatically corrupt.
