"The man who could start a war with a tweet" just started a trade war with one — against our two closest trading partners. Countries we import a trillion dollars a year from. When POTUS before, he tossed a trade deal with them and replaced it with his own trade deal. And is now threatening to violate his very own deal which explicitly forbids tariffs. Make it make sense.

4 小時內	Diego Chahin dchahin1980	I think the Mexico trade minister said it best. This is the way he starts negotiations. He likes to come in from a strong position and then sits down to talk. He can't slap 25% across the board because he is going to hurt the economy. Worst case scenario he damages a sector (like he did with the farmers 8 years ago) and then bails then out with our money. Then he'll boast about how great he is at negotiating.
