At what age does "falling" officially become " had a fall" Because I'm now 70, when I tripped over back step today.....did I just, for the first time "have a fall"? Or did I just fkn trip, fkn fall and whack my fkn knee on the next step up?

As opposed to a fall happening to you as if out of nowhere, that you had no agency over. Hope this makes sense. Im 65 and me falling over is different to my 92 yo mother, who suffered a catastrophic fall, that took her completely unaware

I'm happy that you had no complications from your fall. I've cared for seniors for many years. Many ended up with a cracked femur leading to surgery. Then contracted post op pneumonia, some recovered, others did not. Our younger friends and family get freaked out and we have to be more aware and assure them we won't jump off the roof.🤣
