I NEED surgery or soon I will be paralyzed. I already struggle walking and all my limbs feel kinda like they're asleep. They want to remove the herniated parts of the discs and fuse the left side, but they need to remove MOST OF MY SPINE at 3 levels in my neck and leave just enough bone one either side to attach rods and screws. I'm fucking terrified! And that's just my neck! I need low back surgery too! 58 and struggling to find a reason to go through with it all. Here's my Lumbar.

I feel for ya. My lumbar looks just like that except reverse. My cut off was at the bottom vertebrea. I had no disk but whatvwas there pinched the nerve against other side of canal. Painful as hell surgery. Was told it's not if but when I'll have another surgery. He didn't cage it because he said it would make all the herniated disk above it collapse quicker. Mainly because my spine is already collapsing. I recommend you get a 2nd opinion. It save me from being caged
