Sunday, a homeless man sat in church. Many open pews, but my mom sat us right beside him. He looked unwell, so during communion, she asked for an extra host & gave it to him herself. She helped him with his Bible, and after the service, asked my dad to give him $20 for lunch. Afterwards, the man embraced her while others watched in disgust. He blessed her and walked away. My mom doesn’t preach love, she shows it. By example, she inspires me, & hopefully others, to live a life full of love.

There are often time people may take it home with them or cult members grabbing hosts or dropping the precious host! No individual ever takes an extra host! I don’t care about time strains! That is our precious Jesus! I also know special Eucharistic members take communion to sick too but in a pix! I agree no one knew if he was Catholic per what you stated!
