As a visibly disabled person when I enter buildings I’m often questioned about whether I’m in the right place. Today I visited a London university to supervise a filming project. I was with my personal assistant and Guide Dog. We had to meet our colleagues at a specific entrance and as soon as we walked into the building someone reprimanded me “ummm! This is a university building!” And I replied “yes I’m working here today and I’m meeting with this person. Could you please direct us here?” 🧵
