An alternative minimum wealth tax for individuals earning above 10m usd (not my idea). Although the taxation of unrealized gains was impossible we have to think along those lines in taxing assets. Basically trying to shift away taxes on income to more taxes on assets or capital

- Get rid of citizens united - Rewrite our tax code to remove all loopholes currently being used to dodge taxes - Raise taxes on people maiking more than $400k. And I mean RAISE THEM. - Invest heavily in infrastructure and clean energy. These are the jobs of fhe future. - Invest heavily in our education system to make degrees and trade schools massively cheaper if not free. This will raise everyone’s salaries as they gain more skills and education Basically invest in us instead of billionaires

I think UBI would help a bit, it'll still be a long time until we're ready for UBI but it's inevitable as eventually there will be many more people than jobs. With UBI people could still work part time for extra income while companies pay taxes in to fund it, then companies that use more AI/automation will be taxed higher for the jobs they are cutting. If we don't do something about it, our future will look a lot like the Ready Player One movie

The challenge in our era is with the gradual implementation of AI and robotics as a significant catalyst for wealth creation, they will destroy multitudes of blue and white collar professions. Massive under or unemployment is a powder keg in a raging fire.

Unions are a start. Go back to higher marginal tax rates like prior to 1990's. Free college education, Universal Healthcare.
