on generating an income from your art: I was once told by my professor that if your work's good enough it will sell. Lolz. You can have the most amazing artwork in the world - but if its stays hidden away it's not going to move - learning how to create great artwork is one thing - learning the business side of art is the another thing... learn the hustle... even mediocre artwork (yes I know art is subjective) sells because those artists understand the hustle!
