I find that venues in our area (Vancouver Island) don’t negotiate BUT I do know that some have weekday or off season rates available, maybe that could be an option for your couple.

It's a bad practice to approach any event professional seeking price reductions or discount offers especially for a wedding (which is most demanding & riddled with unrealistic expectations event of them all) We instantly decline bookings or a quote inquiry where the inquirer is eluding to not being okay with our standard pricing. I also would keep in mind that having this expectation from a business that you don't consistently work with, refer to, or offer to do the same for beforehand is a 🚩
