Before you shame me, just know I’m a one cup of coffee person. So a keurig has been the best thing for me. Quick, easy, convenient, less “waste”. But for years I’ve felt my soul break when I use it because of the plastic. I’ve hated it. But my machine is breaking and I’m going to try the French press instead.

Japanese-made. EVEN (surprised me!) used by YTer James Hoffman, coffee snob extraodinaire, for his daily cups off-camera.

3 小時內	Chris Huang photodesignch	I have many coffee machines. I am not very sure about your “waste”. If I grind my own coffee. The coffee pod after expression machine can be used as compose or soil for plants. Nothing there is wasted! And zero plastic.
4 小時內	chettaj	Personally I’ve found the Chemex (or Bodum makes a cheaper one) pour over easier to clean than the French press, but they both make a good cup of coffee 🙂
