Okay actual unpopular opinion, if people should be free to identify as any gender as gender is a social construct, people should be free to identify as any race, because race is a social construct with a WEAKER link to biology

19 小時內	Tommy thomas_rowley__	No but your completely right. This is at heart the same conversation, the issue is its the wrong time. Both gender and race present their own biological expressions and create their own societal experiences that can't be understood fully by those not within the same group. The way I see it is we're on step 4 of eradicating racism from our society and allowing race to become another form of expression, without limitation or anything, is like step 9. We just aren't there as a society
19 小時內	Cabbage poorveganstances	But 'identify as' is meaningless. You people say this like it's some magic enchantment that does something. 'I identify as...' So what? Nothing 'happens'... If I see you as x and you tell me 'I identify as y', nothing magically changed the moment you said it.
