I have a wonderful husband, a mother in a home with Alzheimer’s, a father who’s currently in hospital with multiple health issues, 2 sisters, 2 amazing nephews & 1 brilliant niece. But I’m angry and lonely. The only friends I have are what I call ‘fair weather friends’ - you know, the ones who’re great when life is great. But when the going gets tough…

2 小時內	Christie-Rose mschristierose	I experienced this first hand when I received a cancer diagnosis…family, friends, both failed me…some thinking buying me a cancer tote or bracelet was the same as showing up for me…ended up doing much of my long treatment alone…many people want to think they are a good, supportive person and will keep their conscience clear by doing a single gesture; very few actually are.
