Friendly reminder that in Spain with a barista/waitress job you can live perfectly fine and afford everything you need including saving money if you’re organized. Because it’s played well AND rent/grocerys etc prices are regulated. So yeah, they have a point.

Idk where you got that (mis)information from but it's one of the worst paying jobs and the job market is wrecked. The housing market is only regulated in Barcelona and they're not doing a good job at it, as in not enough, prices are so high tenants are currently on strike.
