I live in an apartment complex and we have long hallways. I live at one end and there’s a sweet old lady (I’m thinking in her 80’s). Anyway tonight I’m heading outside as she’s heading in and she looks at me and says “I asked him to help me bring it in and I’d pay him extra but he said no”. I looked on the ground and she had about 9-10 bags of groceries. I made sure the taxi driver watched as I picked up the bags and helped her to her door! Why aren’t we kind to each other anymore?
