My toddler keeps taking ornaments off the tree, my tweens have spent most of the day fighting and being obnoxious, my 5 year old has a cold (and 2 of my other kids have had symptoms as well), I don’t want to cook or clean anymore, I still have to pack for when we go visit my parents… I feel you.

Don’t stress.. tbh this is the first Christmas in25 years I finally feel relaxed., I don’t know if the kids are older or what but whew

Order Pizza, watch movies. Some gifts will be fun after Christmas. Who cares if your teen doesn't see the lights. They will like to go again in a few years

I appreciate your honesty ! The food shop in Tesco was quite frankly horrendous the kids fell out with each other people kept knocking into the kids with there trolleys, Tescos was like it was a zombie apocalypse and people were shopping like it was the end of the world , I’ve forgotten where I’ve hidden some of there presents they’ve hidden the cellotape again !! We were going to look at Xmas lights this evening but everyone was tired and I’m battling feeling fluey !! Oh the. Joys , x

I have pneumonia. I’m still working two jobs. Haven’t wrapped a thing. House is a mess and still trying to make a joyful holiday for the kids. I usually love Chrybut this one just isn’t hitting right

I think your post is very much needed! So many are trying to live up to "the perfect Christmas " and it just doesn't exist. This year, I have not put up a tree, but im using a small ceramic tree, I also bought cookies, and my neighbors have dropped off homemade treats...my gifts are wrapped, and I'm cooking Christmas day. I have only vacuumed and cleaned the bathroom...and I'm saying I'm ready. Do I care my laundry is multiplying in the dark? No, I dont
