My mom was getting in the passenger seat today and I was packing things in my trunk. I heard her cry out in pain. I ran over to help and after some time, she got in the back seat. We took off to another part of the lot to go to Costco. When we got out, I couldn't find my wallet. I must have dropped it when I rushed to help her. I ran back to where we were, frantic to find it but it was gone. 1/2

Her husband found my wallet and while my phone number wasn't in there, she came to my house since she had my driver's license. I teared up. My mom is more important than anything in my wallet so I didn't dwell on it. I was reminded there is still good and kindness in this world. I never thought I would get my wallet back. I'm blessed and amazed by people each day. 2/2
2 小時內	taymassacre	This happened to me once at target. Left my wallet in the cart. Guy went to my address on my ID, but it was my old house. He said he searched online and paid $12 to see other possible addresses & was able to find my new address. I offered to reimburse him, but he insisted I keep my $. Forever thankful he was honest.. and honestly greatful he didn’t take advantage of now knowing my address.

So I do walk away from my cane. But not far BUT my cane disappears pretty quickly and doesn’t get turned back in … I had lost my cane 4 times in the same store in a matter of 6 weeks when I first started venturing out of the house alone. My adventures I called them. Took me a bit not to become discouraged and bitter…

I asked her what she did with it and she said she turned it in to Mall Security. I told her to listen as I called mall Security. Me: “Hi, I’m hoping you can help me. I lost my engagement ring last night somewhere around Macy’s. Did anyone find it and turn it in?” Security guy: places me on a 40 second hold. “No. Sorry nothing here.” Lesson: keep what you find so you can return to owner when found.
