Everyone assumes that PBS will be the new home, except the whole reason PBS struck that licensing deal with Warner Bros. was because PBS’ funding was drying up so much that the show wasn’t going to be able to continue without drastic budget cuts… if it was going to be able to continue at all.
So… it’s POSSIBLE the series wil end with season 55…. But I doubt it. My money’s on Disney licensing the show for more seasons. 2/3
