Think how strong it’d be for “ending the hydrocarbon economy instantly”, and all the deaths from climate change just disappear at a horizon. They don’t reduce, degrees don’t go up, catastrophic climate changes don’t happen that would have otherwise. It’s that level.

Well, for one- there won’t be people waking up during surgery because of their insurance coverage ran out. Btw- actually have experienced that (not because of coverage but didn’t get enough). You feel everything but are paralyzed. It’s horrific.
