So a quick google search says that pertussis is generally spread from the unvaccinated, as they are more likely to contract it. And those who are vaccinated can still get pertussis. My vaccinated child got it age three from another vaccinated child along with 2 other kids at daycare. He was so sick. Last year my friends unvaxxed 2 year old got it from a vaxxed kid at a party, her 2 year old coughed for a week. Very very mild. Vaccines dont protect against transmission, nor so they lessen the symptoms for everyone.
