Wow! Did not think I would get any traction on my last post. Grateful for everyone’s positivity. I know Californians are seen as a virus in other states they move to, but I grew up in Northern California and I’ll say Colorado is a very parallel universe. All the locals I have met have been incredible welcoming and if anything have listened to my stories and struggles living in California. Happy to be here and will always respect what it is, not what people moving here “wish it was” 🙏🏼💚

I was born and raised from families that came to Colorado in the 1800s. But I was itching to travel. Spent a month in Paris at age 15 to learn French, 13yrs in Tucson for college/work, year in Paris, summer in NYC, summer in Virgin Islands, 20yrs in San Francisco and now back home for 6. Love California and Californians but Coloradoans have it too! They’re great people who become family!
