Aerie/American Eagle drives me nuts. They offer up to a size XXL but XXL is the only size that is online only YET they are all for body positivity and don’t retouch their ads. Why is there one singular size left out of stores then?!?! @aerie @americaneagle do better.

A billion years ago there used to be a place called Fashion Bug and connected to it in the same building was Fashion Bug Plus. I miss it.

Stores aren't inclusive in the other direction either. I'm petite and it's very very hard to find clothes true to size. I wish retailers understood that bodies come in a wide range and we all need clothes.

Our local Old Navy eliminated their instore plus size stock over a year ago. I haven't been back since.

Well, I’m 6’ tall with a 36” inseam, and never in my adult life have I been able to walk into a store and buy jeans or pants or anything remotely long enough. Online shopping is just the reality for a lot of people with various body types and that’s just the way it is.

I think it’s going to get worse because of Ozempic. And not all of us can take it or want to. I can’t. I have strictures from Crohn’s and I’ll end up with a bowel obstruction. Plus if something is too good to be true especially medically it probably is. People are going to end up with permanent gastroparesis.

The quality at Torrid has gone way down and still just as expensive.

I buy from Old Navy often, because I can afford them. They have larger sizes. However, those are only avail online. My local store does carry anything above 2x in store. I can’t go into their store and purchased clothes that fit.
