You need to step back and let his parents handle that. They need to get him in a new class. Should be no reason you’re contacting the school about anything. You’re not his parent.

Thanks for sharing, This is the work I do. If you were given permission and no one has been in touch, I would write and email and ask when someone will be in touch. This way you have what you need in writing, whether or not they respond. Also try to document all your attempts. And then yes, go above to the superintendent. This isn’t ok. And don’t EVER be afraid to mention race. And NEVER attend a meeting alone, please have a witness or advocate with you.

My dad was a high school teacher and he always told me to go straight to the superintendent. Don’t go to the teacher or principal, go straight to the top. There were a couple of instances that I did just talk to the teacher, and she was amazing.
