It’s literally the best in the world by far, everyone travels to places like Mayo Clinic when needing life saving procedures. Almost all high level surgeries happen in the US. It’s just ridiculously expensive

Incorrect. Even discounting all the statistics showing we have some of the best in the world we also have made 90ish% of the new medicines and vaccines invented since the 1950s. Hell we just finished a trial for a cancer vaccine a few weeks ago
